About Better Societies

We do one thing, and we do it in six weeks.

If you build or ship AI in Europe, August 2026 is your deadline. Today you've got two options. Big 4 wants €300,000 and four months. Compliance dashboards want €25,000 a year and don't write the documentation for you. We're the third option.

What we do

The documentation, ready to submit and defend.

We write the documentation the EU AI Act says you need for a high-risk system. Risk management plan, data governance file, human oversight design, the technical file, quality management system, and the declaration of conformity you sign off on. Six weeks, fixed fee, ready to submit and defend.

Pricing on the Pricing page. One system, multi-system, or a one-week Readiness Diagnostic if you just need to know where you stand.

Why we exist

The mid-market gap.

The EU AI Act lands August 2 2026. If your AI touches credit, hiring, healthcare, identity, education, or critical infrastructure for EU users, you need a documentation pack and a signed declaration. Doesn't matter where you're headquartered.

It isn't GDPR. It isn't SOC 2. It isn't CE marking. The obligations are AI-specific and the regulator is a member-state market surveillance authority, not an audit firm.

Most companies are doing nothing. The rest are paying Big 4 €300,000. Neither serves a €10M to €500M company with a handful of high-risk systems. That's the gap we fill.

Who we are

Founder-led on every project.

Adrien Harrison runs Better Societies. Every project, every document, signed by him before it ships. No associates, no offshore review, no name partner who only shows up in the contract.

How we work

Four ground rules.

01

Fixed fee, fixed timeline.

One price agreed before we start. No scope-change orders, no hourly billing. Goes long? That's our problem, not yours.

02

Founder-led, every time.

Adrien reviews and signs every document before it goes to you. No technical-file ghostwriters. No offshore QA.

03

A deliverable every week.

Six weeks. Six deliverables. Miss one and you get that week refunded. No four-month black boxes.

04

Honest about fit.

If you're too small, too big, in a sector we don't cover, or already well-served, we'll tell you on the first call and refer you out.

Not sure if you're in scope?

Start with the one-week Readiness Diagnostic. We classify every AI system in your stack against the Act, tell you what's high-risk, and scope what a full project would look like. Honest answer either way.
